Sophomore & Under Invitational

This meet is for most of the sophomore and under runners. However there may be some that will not be running in the meet. Each athlete should know if they are going to be race today. Those not racing will be at the Bunker Activity Center for practice.

The bus will be leaving from the high school at 7:30 AM. Below you will find the scheduled race times. We will be running 7 varsity athletes for both boys and girls. The bus will leave following the awards.

Cambridge-Isanti Invitation Update

There have been a number of changes to the meet schedule for Friday. This meet we do not have specific start times for the races, it is a rolling start time event. The meet location is at the Isanti MS, same location as last year. Below is what we know for race order.

First race is at 4:15.

Team Pictures - Thursday, Septmeber 10th

We have team pictures happening this week at Andover. On Thursday we will meet at the pond for individual and team photos. Forms will be available on Wednesday as well as on Thursday.

Parent Volunteer Opportunity - Pizza Sorting & Distribution Sept. 29th

The pizza delivery date has been moved back due to delivery issues.  We could use a few adults to help sort and distribute the Pizza from 4:30pm to about 6:00pm.  Contact Jamie via e-mail if you can help out (sleepnumber35@yahoo.com).

Team Building, Feed My Starving Childrent, September 12th

FMSC is set for Saturday.   Reminders - Come 15 minutes early, wear closed-toed shoes, avoid wearing jewelry, don't come if you're sick, and bring small donation to help to ship the food we pack.

Captain's Practices

The boys and girls captains will be holding practices for the next couple of weeks in preparation for the beginning of the season, which is Monday, August 17th. Their plan is below.

Start: 8:30 AM for all practices
Locations: Bunker Activity Center every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
                  Anoka County Library Rum River Branch (near Anoka HS) every Tuesday and Thursday.

Summer Camp Information

Here are the two primary documents for the summer training. From the meetings at Andover HS and Oak View MS it appears that we will have a large number of participants this summer. If you are away for a few days make sure to check the blog for schedule changes, such as a trip to the Lazy River at Bunker Beach for some water running. We will be playing the hunger games game the last week in July, just a reminder.

Section 7AA Information

The bus will be leaving the high school at 11:30 for Princeton Thursday, October 23rd.

Race Schedule:
2:00 PM Boys Varsity
2:45 PM Girls Varsity

Location:
Princeton Golf Course, 301 Golf Course Rd Princeton, MN 55371

Directions:
Take Hwy 169 to Rum River Dr, Right on S 6th St, Left on 4th Ave S, and Right on Golf Club Rd.

Parking:
The clubhouse will be reserved for workers and team buses. There is a small overflow lot and city streets for spectators.
