This week features our return to the Buffalo Invitational. This is a great meet with excellent competition. The course can be fast and is also spectator friendly. We will be leaving the high school at 1:30. It looks like we will have a second week in a row of all practices being at Andover HS. Next week we will have one off site practice so plan accordingly.

--> From the East:  Take Highway 55 West.  East of Buffalo turn left on County Road 147 to Highway 25.  Turn left on Highway 25 south and proceed to course.

Directions to Milaca

Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for kids. 
There will be many spectators at the meet so be prepared to walk a little ways to get to the golf course. For the address use 1115 6^th Avenue NE, Milaca, MN and it should show the correct directions on your map.

From Andover: Take169 north to the Highway 23 exit. Turn right (east) on
Highway 23 for about 200 yards. (Across from the Dairy Queen) Turn left on the frontage road and drive about 1/2 mile north to the stop sign. Turn left and drive about 1/4 mile. Parking will be on your left or the open field on your right.
Walk west on 10th street to the admission gate.

We have a couple of meets this week. Tuesday is the Sophomore and under while Saturday is the Milaca Mega meet.  Due to the two meet schedule we will have all practices at Andover this week. Check the start times for Tuesday below.

Milaca Pasta Feed - Friday 9/20 6:30 p.m.

We are excited to have all cross country boys and girls to our home for a Pasta Feed this Friday at 6:30 p.m.  Come hungry!  Our address is 14044 Orchid St. NW, Andover, MN.  We live in the neighborhood just north and east of Bunker and Round Lake Blvd. Thanks ahead of time for the salad (Sophomores), bread (Juniors), drinks (Freshmen) and dessert(Seniors) you will all be bringing!  -John and Laurie Keller, 763-427-7268

Booster Club Meeting

There will be a Cross Country Booster club meeting on Wednesday 9/16 at 7 p.m. in room A105 at Andover High School.  The club will discuss the following items:

• Fundraising successes
• Pasta feed logistics
• Coaching increased runners 
• Milaca Mega meet food
• Team needs: tents, message sticks
• Open Forum

Heggies Pizza pickup tomorrow

We have enough volunteers for Monday's Heggies delivery, thanks to all who emailed.  The truck will arrive around 4:30 p.m., we will discuss the process of splitting the orders prior to the truck arriving.  I will verify the truck arrival time with Heggies, last year the truck was  30 minutes late.

Pizza's will be distributed between 5 and 6:30 p.m.

Schedule for 9/3 - 9/6/2013

Schedule Change:
The Cambridge-Isanti Invitational is at a new location this year. The meet will be held at the Isanti Middle School. Directions: Take Hyw 65 north to County Rd 5 (there are lights). Turn left and go west 1.2 miles on Co Rd 5, the middle school is on the left.

Practices begin at 3:00 PM
Tuesday - Andover HS, Pictures at pond.
Wednesday - Bunker Activity Center
Thursday - Out of class at 1:30, leave for Isanti MS at 1:45
