Board Meeting Minutes

Participants: Rick Dubay, Laurie Jensen, Scott Clark, Kelly McKeefry, Jeff McKeefry

The members discussed the upcoming parent meeting.  The meeting will be on Wednesday November 14th at 6:30 PM in the Media Center.  The team discussed options for fundraising activities: Grocery bagging, Heggies pizza selling, activity cards.  The board proposed a vote for moving the fiscal year from Jan 1 - Dec 31 to June 1 to May 31.  The vote passed 4 to 0.  The committee discussed the open positions on the board and made recommendations to have committees for fundraising and communications.  The current members: Rick Dubay - Treasurer and Jeff McKeefry - President moved to create a secretary, vice president fundraising chair and communications chair positions.  There will be a vote at the next meeting on 11/13 to address these open positions.  The team discussed creating a flyer that would show the teams achievements over the past years.  A flyer was created awhile back, but needed to be refreshed with current data.  The updates would be sent to Rick Dubay to have the pamphlet completed.  The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m. The next meeting will be held on 11/13 at AHS 7:00 p.m, room B-105.
